2/11 Response to reports of Tom insuring his chest hair from Sir Tom's Management - The story published in the Daily Mirror (UK) on Feb 5 is completely fabricated.  No such insurance policy exists or has ever been considered.  We assume this is just the Mirror having a bit of fun and hope no one takes this kind of 'reporting' seriously
1/28 Response to Daily Mail Article January 26 From Sir Tom's Management - For the record, the lady in the image accompanying this article is not Mrs. Tom Jones.  This is a photo of Sir Tom with his sister, Sheila.  That the newspaper has constructed an entire piece on a completely false premise whilst proceeding to pass judgment on the look of a 70+ lady having an outing with her brother is beyond the pale.  The only thing this article reveals is the standard of the Daily Mail's journalism.
1/14 New Zealand Date - Tom Jones has today been confirmed as the headline act for the 2008 Mission Estate Winery Concert, after an unfortunate cancellation by John Mellencamp.

A new special guest, iconic Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes, has also been confirmed to join Tom Jones on stage at the 1 March event.

Tickets are available now through the Mission Estate Winery Concert website http://www.missionconcert.co.nz  or from Ticketmaster (online, outlets or phone 09 970 9700).

11/6 Tom Jones Christmas - It’s a Hot Holiday - DVD Release

Christmas had special meaning for Tom Jones, 28-year-old Welsh superstar and host of his own weekly variety show This Is Tom Jones, and the 1969 and 1970 holiday programs compiled on this DVD reflect his love for this festive season. As usual, Tom throws a terrific party that’s brassy, classy and warmly nostalgic. It’s a great time for all.

Jazz diva Ella Fitzgerald cooks with the Count Basie chestnut Good Morning Blues before she and Tom share the stage. Viewers will experience a lovely Chelsea Morning courtesy of Judy Collins, and ballet at its finest when the legendary Rudolf Nureyev and Merle Park perform the Pas de Deux from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite. In his poignant reading of A Child’s Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas, Tom goes home for the holidays as the Treorchy Male Choir provides a backdrop of seasonal favorites.

And after grabbing the microphone for his mini concert, Tom quickly moves from warm and fuzzy to hot and sexy.
